Stretching has always been a part of my daily routine. It wasn't until 2012 that it became a practice and I found yoga as a form of self expression. As I became more aware of my body, the connection between mind and body was engaged. This heightened awareness within my body led me to the path of finding my true self. In the spring of 2013 I received my 200 HR RYT at South Boston Yoga with David Vendetti and Ame Wren. With my background in gymnastics, ballet, and cheerleading I am able to understand the need for both strengthening and reviving the muscles in order to continue on with physical activities. After experiencing physical therapy and countless chiropractor visits from injuries endured from these sports I was still left wondering if I would ever find contentment with my body again. I found that by taking an anatomical approach to alignment in my yoga practice, in combination with Massage Therapy, I was able to find comfort in my body. After seeing the changes in my own body, I knew that I wanted to be able to share my experience with others. After having taught group classes in a studio setting I saw that some students desired a deeper understanding for their practice which opened my eyes to the idea of providing individual, personalized classes. This was when I made the decision to create a nurturing and safe environment for my students, one that helps others explore internal focus and exploration of the body, mind, and spirit. These classes are geared towards freeing the body from scar tissue, increased mobility and freedom from pain and restriction.

I recently completed the 650 HR massage therapy program offered by New England School of Therapeutics, which was taught by David Vendetti and Richmond Dickson. During my time throughout the course I was exposed to all of their knowledge and understanding of massage therapy and am happy to be able to share it with you!
